Classic champagne cocktail recipe

Ingredients
- 1 sugar cubes
- 2 drops bitters
- 30 ml brandy
- 70 ml champagne
- 1 slice orange
- 1 maraschino cherries
Method
Drop the sugar cube into your champagne flute. Soak it with two dashes of bitters.
Pour 30ml of brandy into the bottom of the flute.
Now slowly add the champagne to fill the rest of the glass.
Use a sharp knife to cut a slit in the orange slice, from its centre out to the edge. Cut a small slit in the base of the maraschino cherry as well. Garnish your cocktail with the orange slice and maraschino cherry.
Serving Suggestions
Note
- This super simple cocktail needs no fancy liqueurs or ingredients.
- You can use sparkling wine or prosecco instead of champagne.
- Garnish with a strawberry if you don't have any maraschino cherries.
