Apple juice

    Ingredients:

    • 6 apples, cored and chopped
    • 6 cups water

    Method:

    Place apples and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil.

    Simmer for 15-20 minutes.

    Mash mixture with a potato masher in the saucepan.

    Strain through a sieve and store in clean bottle in the refrigerator.

    Notes:

    • This is a really flavour packed and pulpy concentrate. I would be diluting this by at least 50% with water.
    • This is a really simple way to get a delicious apple drink without added sugar and preservatives.
