Honey soy salmon

This is a great way to get your toddler to try something new. The gentle flavours of honey and soy make this salmon a meal the whole family, including your little one, will enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 1/2 tbsp fresh lime juice

  • 2 tsp dijon mustard

  • 1 water

  • 2 tsp vegetable oil

  • 2 x 200g salmon tails

    they haven’t any bones

Equipment

  • 1 small bowl
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 small non-stick skillet

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl whisk together honey, soy sauce, lime juice, mustard, and water.
  2. In a small non-stick skillet heat oil over moderately high heat and cook salmon 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden and just cooked through. Transfer salmon to 2 plates.
  3. Add honey glaze to skillet and simmer, stirring, 1 minute. Pour glaze over salmon.
  4. Serve with rice and steamed green vegetables.
