Ingredients:
- 2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 2 cups water
Method:
In a saucepan, bring apples and water to the boil.
Simmer for 10 minutes until the apples are very soft.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
Puree using a stick or conventional blender until smooth or alternately push through a sieve.
Notes:
- I used Pink Lady apples for this recipe but Delicious apples would be sweeter.
- This puree can be frozen into clean covered ice cube tray for easy portions.
