The closest Westfield to us in Dunedin is Christchurch unfortunately, and we don’t go through there often. I would love to have a Westfield here but just too small. It’s a real shame as they are a fantastic place to go with the kids in weekends or school holidays. I have really loved the Riccarton one in the 2 times we have been 🙂

Westfield malls in Auckland seem to have more choices when it comes to restaurants though. But yeah, winter time is the best time for some indoor window shopping and movie watching as well. It’s warm, cosy, and a wide open space for toddlers to go around as well.

Going to the movies is a perfect cold rainy day treat, especially when the seats are so much comfier and you can order hot food too. The sloth cookie mug looks so cute – might have to get one,I had never thought of cotton on selling gifts as I thought it was just clothes -good to know.

We love going to Westfield Riccarton for family outings for the same reasons above, a choice of food for each member of the family. A great choice of movies to watch and great shopping for this mama too with Kmart( my happy place) can keep warm, enjoy time together and remain comfortable. They even have a gaming area at the hoyts cinema to pass some time and use up spare change..

I love all these ideas on what to do at our closest Westfield mall which is riccarton mall. We just watched the lion king it is such a great and at times sad movie, some children even were crying in the movie but there is lots of laughter as well. I love the body shop ideas that are suggested for winter time with moisturisers and treats for your self and skin. There is heaps of food selections as well in the mall if family members want different foods.
