Easy maple cinnamon granola
Ingredients
- 2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1 cup flaked almonds
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbs vegetable oil
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced) and line a large baking tray with baking paper. Measure out the oats, nuts and seeds, and place in a large bowl.
In a separate measuring jug, whisk together the maple syrup, oil, cinnamon and salt. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir well, until everything is coated.
Dump the mixture onto the baking sheet, and spread out in an even layer. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through, being sure to bring the edges into the middle and vice versa. Let cool completely on the tray.
