Choc almond biscotti



  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup Baking Cocoa
  • 100g butter
  • 3/4 cup almonds
  • 3/4 cup White CHOC BITS
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoons almond liqueur


Preheat oven to 160C. Combine in bowl flour, baking powder, sugar and Baking Cocoa, rub in butter.

Add almonds, White CHOC BITS and combined, eggs, egg yolks, water and liqueur, mix well.

Turn dough out on to well floured surface, form into a flat log 35cm x 8cm.

Wrap in plastic, freeze 1 hour or refrigerate overnight.

Using serrated knife, cut dough into 8mm thick slices, place on greased baking trays, bake 25-30 minutes, cool before removing from tray.
