No bake honeycomb slice

This no-bake honeycomb slice has a bottom layer of malty biscuits and a creamy top of honeycomb studded deliciousness. This recipe makes two trays. One for you and one to share

Ingredients

  • 1 malt biscuits

  • 600ml thickened cream

  • 1 tin sweetened condensed milk

    (395g)

  • 1 tbsp honeycomb

    chopped into small pieces

Equipment

  • 1 2 slice tins
  • 1 baking paper
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 electric mixer or whisk

Instructions

  1. Line 2 slice tins with baking paper.
  2. Place biscuits flat side down to cover the entire base.
  3. Whip cream until thick and mix in condensed milk until just combined.
  4. Fold in chopped honeycomb and pour half into each tin.
  5. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
  6. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

Tip
We bought our honeycomb in the confectionery aisle of the supermarket but you can actually make your own.
Variation
You can use one large baking tray instead of two slice tins.
Storage
This slice needs to stay chilled to hold its shape.
