Ingredients
1kg gravy beef or round steak
cubed
2 bacon
chopped
2 onions
finely sliced
2 potatoes
chopped into 1cm dice
10 button mushrooms
halved
½ cup good quality beef stock
(125mL)
½ cup red wine
(125mL)
Equipment
- 1 Slow Cooker (Crock Pot)
- 1 Stock Pot
- 1 Casserole Dish
Instructions
- Place potatoes, onions and mushrooms in the crock pot.
- Add beef, bacon, stock and red wine on top of the vegetables.
- Turn the crock pot onto the low setting and let it cook for 8-10 hours. You do not need to take the lid off or stir it.
