Healthy chocolate power balls

These healthy chocolate power balls are filling and sweet enough to satisfy the most intense 3pm chocolate craving. I try to have a jar of these in the fridge and reach for them after dinner instead of dessert or any time I'm hankering for something sweet.

Chocolate afghan biscuits

These chocolatey biscuits are a favourite kiwi snack and go beautifully with a cup of tea in the afternoon. Easy to make and perfect for using up the last of the cornflakes at the bottom of the packet, this will disappear in minutes!

ABC muffins

The 'ABC' in these muffins stands for Apple, Banana and Cranberries and the kids will love these in their lunchboxes. If the kids aren't cranberry fans, you could substitute them with carrot, instead.

Choc chip scones

These delicious choc chip scones are perfect for an afternoon treat and sometimes I pop them into the oven when my kids go to bed so they can have them fresh in their lunch boxes the next day.

Black bean brownies

For a delish and healthy twist on a traditional chocolate brownie, try these heavenly black bean brownies. You'll still get a hit of rich gooey chocolate, but you'll also get a big serve of extra protein and fibre. And the kids will never, ever know. Bonus!

Pork meatballs

Moist pork meatballs with Asian-inspired flavours that are baked, not fried, to make healthy bites for a party platter. Serve them cold in a sub for a hearty lunch.

Caramel coconut slice

All kids love the sweetness of condensed milk and now you can enjoy it too in this delicious caramel coconut slice. The layers of biscuit base, smooth caramel and crunchy coconut topping make this slice utterly irresistible.

Pikelets

Pikelets really are the ultimate in easy snacks to make at home - and is there a child anywhere who doesn't love a warm pikelet eaten straight from the frying pan?
